A Deep Dive Into Archetypes: Signal Amplifiers
This is one of an 8-part series on the emerging archetypes

Signal Amplifiers are careful active listeners, observers, and cultural storytellers who share truths and new ways of being to help others feel seen, connected, and inspired.
Signal Amplifiers share stories, culture, and new ways of being with wider communities. They help others find truth, meaning, and feel less alone. Signal Amplifiers are excellent observers and listeners, making meaning and understanding connections between cultures, people, and ideas. Their care in witnessing those around them makes them trusted keepers of truth; while they may be recognized for speaking out, they know that some stories are sacred confidences, told only to remind them of the importance of their role. In our map, this includes Ventures and Pods in media and writing and those that weave stories and culture into their products, leadership, and art.
Signal Amplifiers overlap with Pollinators, Soil Tenders, and Shadow Dwellers, recognizing the power of storytelling to build community, share knowledge, and make space for difficult conversations.
Signal Amplifiers animate our ecosystem by building connections, and expanding our understanding of the world. Signal Amplifiers listen closely and then ask, “what story do you want to share with others?”
