A Deep Dive Into Archetypes: Soil Tenders

This is one of an 8-part series on the emerging archetypes

Soil Tenders are generous knowledge-sharers who connect people, skills, and wisdom across generations to inspire collective learning and growth.

Soil Tenders share knowledge, connecting people, ideas, and skills across generations, sharing wisdom and experience generously with those around them, inviting others to join in their learning and growth journey. They recognize that each person has something to offer, and encourage the exchange of ideas in a way that is engaging, collaborative, and egalitarian. In our map, this includes Ventures and Pods who connect people to traditional knowledge, new technology, nature, and industry-specific information.

Soil Tenders are at the heart of our map, overlapping with almost every other cluster. Their desire and ability to invite the exchange of knowledge, skills, and experience is a foundational part of Coralus’ work, and the number of Pods and Ventures who touch this Archetype reflects our collective commitment to learning in community.

Soil Tenders sustain our ecosystem by unlocking collective wisdom, making knowledge more accessible, and inspiring new ideas and approaches. Soil Tenders sit beside others and ask “what do you know and what are you hoping to learn?”
