What are these times asking of us, and what capacities are we being invited to build together?
An ongoing exploration of the Metacrisis, listening more deeply to ourselves, each other, and the world we are moving through together.

Poem
What if the metacrisis is not a problem to be solved, but rather a living entity who is asking a living question?
Trying to fix the crises might make us unable to listen to the deeper message here. To try surface-level reforms on a structure with an untenable foundation is reckless behavior.
The metacrisis will keep on pulsing and pulsing and pulsing, every solution birthing three new problems, until we bring our hearts to the ground and listen to the root of the root of the root.
Can I meet you, metacrisis, the way Chiron meets his wound, as a teacher?
Can I welcome you as you tear away my exhausted stories of arrogance and entitlement?
Will I be able to see myself in your mirror and witness how I have been complicit in this confusion?
And in that reckoning, can I face you as a lover who breaks my heart open?
Will I be able to pick up the bones of all those who carried the weight of this mess for centuries and swallow them dry?
When I touch you, metacrisis, as ash and oil and breath, will you tell me the story of our scar?
Can I kneel at the eye of your storm to meet you as myself.
Not as something outside of me, but as someone in me.
As someone underneath my flesh and in between all flesh.
What are you asking of us, Metacrisis?
Can we listen?
